Meet Frannie, a nine-year-old, 25-pound Pug who is here to redefine everything you think you know about senior dogs! This spunky little lady still has plenty of pep in her step and absolutely loves getting out for leash walks. When the mood strikes, Frannie is also happy to zoom around, play, and show off her joyful spirit.
Frannie is wonderfully friendly and very people-oriented. She thrives on companionship and enjoys being close to her humans, whether that means trotting happily by your side or curling up next to you on the couch. With her perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate charm, Frannie is an exceptional companion who’s ready to share all of life’s moments with you.
Frannie had hundreds of bladder stones that put her on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. The stones were removed and she is now happy and healthy. She will need to be kept on prescription urinary food for the rest of her life. Our Animal Coordinator will share the details with potential adopters.
Frannie’s adoption fee of $150 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet Frannie, please call 602-971-1334 to schedule an appointment, or visit Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm during walk-in hours.

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

More about this rescue
Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
