My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Garrison is in our PetSmart Encinitas adoption center. ***

Garrison #20003: dark orange tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 9/15/25

Cats: must have playmate
Dogs: hasn’t met
Children: elementary+

BACKGROUND: Garrison was found by a person who feeds a colony of homeless cats; he was young and eager to make friends, so she asked if we could help him find a loving home.

PERSONALITY: Garrison is a high-energy boy who rarely sits still. He is always on the move… running and jumping on other cats, romping, wrestling, grooming, you name it! He will walk up the back of a human in his space, purring the entire while… he doesn’t recognize personal boundaries in his life and is very needy with his people. He needs lots of toys and stimulation to stay out of trouble. Garrison is a lovable and loving little rascal.

COMPATIBILITY: This boy needs a buddy… he must have either a resident cat who is willing to meet his high energy and desire to romp or be adopted with one at the same time. Cats should also be open to Garrison giving them a good grooming, because he’s going to insist on it. He has not met any dogs yet. He is fine with gentle elementary-aged children and loving adults.

You’ll never be bored with Garrison around! Will this cheeky charmer win you over?
