The best husky woo-woo ever goes to miss Stella! Hilarious and SO FREAKING CUTE with her husky-body and short stubby legs- we can only guess that she may be a husky/basset hound mix!
Stella enjoys playing with friendly, confident but not dominant dogs. She can be a bit of a referee when playing with other dogs, so any doggy friends should provide appropriate corrections without escalation.
Stella is more of a lady’s-dog and can be slow to warm up to men. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, she just try’s to avoid new people. Any men in her life should be willing to help in her day-to-day care to build her trust in them.
Stella is crate trained, obedience trained, loves walks and adventures and will keep you smiling all day long. She is polite in the home, walks well on leash and is housebroken!
Stella would prefer kids 12 and older and she would need supervision around kitty cats (she never tried to hurt them, but does like to boss them around).

We are long-time animal lovers working hard to reduce the number of euthanized dogs in shelters. Our ultimate goal is to house and employ veterans, teach them how to prepare a dog for adoption and should they wish, reach them to run a successful rescue so they may take our model and open one anywhere there’s a need of Veterans and K9’s alike!
