Meet Princess Girl! Once upon a time, this beautiful 3 year old girl was a beloved family member - but sadly, when her family was threatened with eviction, they had to make the difficult decision to surrender her to the shelter.
Princess Girl's family described her as a "very nice family-oriented dog, very athletic, loves runs/walks," and said she listens and loves to cuddle. When asked what kind of home they felt would be best for Princess Girl, they said they would love for her to find "a nice farm or somewhere with lots of land where she can have fun and roam around with her peers if possible. Any type of big land or somewhere spacious and is a dog home where she is loved and cared for." Due to her owner's life circumstances, Princess Girl previously spent much of her time indoors with minimal outdoor time, and thus she could use a little help with house training. But she already knows "sit," "up," and "fetch" so it's clear this smart little lady will pick up new skills with ease!
Princess Girl is a new arrival and she hasn't had the chance to make any canine friends at the shelter quite yet. Her owners shared that she tends to be pretty dominant but enjoys playtime with dogs who can match her energetic, playful style. She would prefer a home without cats though! Her favorite toys are stuffed animals.
While we are still getting to know Princess Girl, this medium-sized sweetheart is already stealing hearts of staff and volunteers at the shelter. Don't miss out on meeting her - stop by ACCT Philly, open daily from 10am to 6pm!
