My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He`s wise, he`s smart...he`s WISDOM! This wonderful guy came to us ready to fill our hearts with his love and loyalty! It is adorable watching Wisdom wiggle with excitement when we stop by to say hi to him! His personality is truly one-of-a-kind and when he is ready, he makes for a great lap dog. Wisdom is a happy go lucky kind of guy that enjoys being along for the ride, right beside his person.

Wisdom loves to play fetch, though he is still learning to bring the toy back! A house with a nice yard would be great for Wisdom to run around and play fetch in. Wisdom would benefit from a nice routine and someone who has a consistent schedule or worked remotely! He is a smart guy and loves to learn so he will need someone that is ready to help him grow and learn new skills.

This cutie has been known to rock pj`s, so what do you say, grab a matching set for you and Wisdom and come by today!

Wisdom is:
- Open to dogs with intro
- No cats
- Kids unknown

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
