My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Groucho & Howie are at Cat & Craft in Vista. ***

Groucho #19723: white & black bicolor, medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/25
Howie #19724: white & grey bicolor, medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/25

Cats: **BONDED PAIR** & great with others
Dogs: good
Children: all ages

BACKGROUND: A mama kitty gave birth and then took her kittens into an attic in Valley Center. A young lady found them but her father said they couldn’t keep them; she reached out to find help for the family and they were able to move into Rescue House foster care.

PERSONALITY: Groucho and Howie… the ultimate dream team! If you’re looking for double the love and a lifetime of entertainment, it’s right here with these playful sweethearts.
---Groucho is a visual masterpiece with his irresistible “mustache” and a literal heart on his side. While this sensitive soul is a bit of a shy guy with new humans, his confidence soars when Howie’s by his side to encourage him to explore and bloom. Once you’ve earned Groucho’s trust, be prepared for a marathon grooming session—he absolutely lives for being petted and brushed.
---Howie is the bold socialite, the extrovert, and the leader of this duo. This total love bug has a purr you can hear across the room! He’s a big fan of back rubs and will seek you out for snuggles. If he thinks you’ve been sitting still for too long, Howie might give you a gentle playful nibble to remind you it’s time to break out the wand toys or the laser pointer. He is a devoted brother who always looks out for Groucho and makes sure his sibling feels safe.
---Groucho and Howie are two halves of a whole even though they have distinct personalities. They are best friends, and the “Howie effect” helps Groucho feel brave in new situations. They MUST be adopted together.

COMPATIBILITY: The bonded boys are also great with other cats and comfortable with respectful dogs (especially Howie). We expect they’d also be good with respectful children of all ages.

Groucho and Howie are a wonderful match for anyone looking to add some fluffy joyful energy!
