My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ziggy is a 3-year-old Boxer mix looking for the fresh start he truly deserves. He’s a sensitive soul with big feelings who is still learning how to express them in a healthy way. When he feels anxious, Ziggy can resource guard around other dogs, especially when it comes to things like food and water. Because of this, he would do best with a patient, experienced adopter who understands canine behavior and is willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. Despite his challenges, Ziggy’s heart is huge. He loves to snuggle, be goofy, and soak up time with his people. He truly wants to please and tries his absolute best to be a good boy. With consistency, structure, and compassion, Ziggy has so much potential to grow into the confident, happy dog he’s meant to be. He’s searching for someone who can see past his worries and give him the love and guidance he needs to shine
