My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aspen! 🐾🧡
Aspen is a stunning 3-year-old orange tabby with a sweet, affectionate personality and the cutest little face that will melt your heart. This charming girl is playful and curious, always ready to explore her surroundings and discover new adventures. Whether she’s chasing a toy, investigating a cozy nook, or watching the world go by from a sunny window, Aspen brings energy and joy wherever she goes.

Despite her playful side, Aspen also has a gentle, loving nature. She enjoys curling up for quiet cuddle sessions with her people, purring contentedly as she feels safe and loved. She’s the perfect combination of fun, curiosity, and affection—a cat who can brighten your day and warm your heart all at once.

Aspen is ready for her forever home—a patient, loving family who will give her the time, attention, and care she deserves. She’s hoping for a space where she can feel secure, be adored for her sweet personality, and grow into the confident, happy companion she’s meant to be. With her striking orange tabby coat, charming personality, and affectionate heart, Aspen is sure to bring endless joy, love, and purrs to her new family! 🐱💛

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
