My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coconut & Kiwi a bonded brother/sister duo ready for their forever home.
These cuties wandered into a trap last winter during a TNR and have been in foster since. They are looking for a patient adopter that will give them time and space to get comfortable.
Coconut is a super sweet boy that loves head scratches and will snuggle next to you once he’s comfortable. Kiwi is a shy girl, but loves pets once she feels comfortable with you.
They love spending their days looking out the window. They always look forward to treats and have a great time with a laser pointer and lots of toys. They don’t seem bothered by the other cats in their foster home. They just sniff them and walk away. Since they are shy babies that need some time and space it’s probably best that they don’t share a space with dogs or young children just yet. Once these two warm up their super sweet personalities are going to shine!

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
