Scarlett is an 11-month old, 45-pound Redbone/Feist mix with a playful and energetic personality. This sweetheart loves to lounge around the house and enjoys long walks where she can sniff to her heart’s content. Sweet-tempered and very well-behaved in the house, she loves belly rubs, snoozing on the couch, and chewing on her toys. She enjoys active play with typical puppy behavior. She sleeps quietly in her crate through the night and is house-trained as long as her cues to go outside are responded to.
Scarlett has not been around other pets or small children in her current foster home, but she’s very much a people-person and loves to meet people of all ages when she’s out walking.
Scarlett would do best in a home where she can have the opportunity to safely run outside without a leash. When on a leash, she needs a strong walker. She is still learning that she doesn’t need to pull on the leash, but with consistent training, her leash skills will continue to grow. She is curious and wants to explore everything.
