At 6 months old and 43 pounds, Mystery is right in that magical puppy stage where she’s big enough for adventures but still goofy enough to trip over her own feet.
Mystery came to us because her previous owner could no longer afford her care—through absolutely no fault of her own. Despite that, she’s bounced back with a wagging tail, an open heart, and the belief that everyone she meets is probably her new best friend.
She’s great with other dogs, wonderful with kids, and—plot twist—she’s already house trained. Yes, this girl is an overachiever who didn’t get the memo that puppies are supposed to be chaotic. Instead, she’s smart, eager to please, and ready to keep learning with her future family.
Mystery’s personality is the perfect blend of sweet cuddle bug and playful goofball. One minute she’s zooming around the yard like she’s late for an important meeting, the next she’s flopping down beside you for snuggles, staring up at you like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to her. She has that classic doodle charm—expressive eyes, bouncy energy, and a talent for making people laugh without even trying.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership.
