My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I can go home today!

A volunteer writes: Midnight was found stray in Brooklyn and his finder was able to lure him to the police station with no leash with a cheeseburger in his hand. Same, Midnight, same. We don't know if he actually got the cheeseburger upon arrival, but I truly hope he did. He deserves all the yummy snacks this world has to offer for being such a very good boy. Every time I take him out midnight zooms around the yard, alternating between playing with toys and doing his best sit for treats. Though he has lots of puppy energy, he has an air about him that gives older, more mature dog. So, when I see that Midnight is only ten months it both makes sense but surprises me. Midnight is being housed in a pop up crate and he'd like to get out of it ASAP. Due to some mouthiness and initial fearfulness, Midnight is available to a L3 home with kids over the age of 13. At this time, he does not have any information on how he does with other animals.
