* If Other, please specify :
Colour/Pattern : tabby
Date of Birth (if known): August 25, 2025
Approximate date able to be adopted, if known (example: if kitten is under 8 weeks or waiting on medical treatment):
My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : playing with a friend, strings and wand toys
My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): being alone
My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): a best friend, toys
Good with cats?: Yes
Good with dogs?: Tolerates
Good with children?: Unknown but should be fine
Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Yes
Temperament: Mix of needy and independent
Ideal type of household?: Low activity, Medium activity
How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few days
Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Nimi is a playful, kind-hearted kitten.
He had a tough start and was unwell early on, including small eye ulcerations related to an upper respiratory infection (feline herpes). These are taking time to heal but don’t appear to affect his vision. Despite being found feral, he has made amazing strides to being comfortable around humans. His soft purrs will melt you.
He’ll have a vet check in early January, and once he’s cleared, he should be ready for adoption.
Nimi does best with another kitten for companionship and play, especially one he already knows and feels safe with, like his brother and best friend, Noh-tsi.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
