Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Foster Cat`s Name: Whatsit
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
* If Other, please specify :
Colour/Pattern : Black
Date of Birth (if known):
Approximate date able to be adopted, if known (example: if kitten is under 8 weeks or waiting on medical treatment): December 15, 2025
My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : exploring, climbing, wrestling, eating, playing with his foster sister, hunting toys
My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): dogs, being alone, vacuums
My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): loads of toys, climbing opportunities, cat trees, patience
Good with cats?: Yes, but takes time
Good with dogs?: Tolerates
Good with children?: Unknown
Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Yes
Temperament: Needy
Ideal type of household?: Medium activity
How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few days
Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Whatsit is as curious as his name would imply! He loves exploring new places, hunting his toys, and climbing his cat trees. Whatsit also LOVES snacking. This hungry little monster will appreciate any treats being offered to him!! This cute little climber would love to have access to cat trees, window sills, and the patience that comes along with an avid explorer. Whatsit is an absolute sweetheart that would love to have loads of one on one attention in a household with a lower activity level! A calm feline friend would be appreciated by Whatsit, as he is not the biggest fan of dogs (especially high energy)!
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): VERY curious, may need some training

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
