Hello, my name is Pumpkin. I came to Good Home when nice human rescued me from a busy street corner in Ditmas Park when I was a tiny baby. I was adopted shortly after but returned when my adopter’s life circumstances changed and they unfortunately couldn’t keep me. But I’m now in a loving foster home and am enjoying being appreciated for the unique character that I am!

I’m an active and intelligent girl with a big, quirky personality. My humans find me hilarious! I love exploring my space and investigating every nook and cranny. If there’s a new shoe or pillow, I need to know all about it. Even better if it’s something I can climb! I need some time to get to know you and I don’t love being held or hugged out of the blue, but once I feel comfortable I like to get cozy nearby or cuddle next to you. Once I decide I like you, I want to know everything about you! Giving me treats, showing me toys, and inviting me to play can bring me out of my shell too.

I’d be happiest in a home with low to moderate activity and humans who give me both space and affection. I’ve lived with a gentle younger kid before and was quite happy, I just don’t like being suddenly picked up, loud noises, or feeling cornered so a rambunctious household or a dog probably wouldn’t agree with me. I’m a spunky girl who will bring a dose of sweet and silly to any home. Could that home be yours?
