My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lumi is an adult female cat who was found outside in the snow, and she’s been charming everyone she meets ever since. She’s very friendly, loves attention, and enjoys being around people. Lumi has a playful side but is overall calm and easygoing, making her a great balance of fun and relaxation. With a proper, slow introduction, she would do well in a home with other cats. Lumi is ready to trade snowy days for a cozy forever home filled with love. 💙

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
