Flurry is an extremely sweet natured kitten who was brought in sick and terrified from the outdoors. Over time this little lady is coming out of her shell and feeling more and more comfortable every day. She may be shy at first, but with time and a little patience her foster feels confident she will blossom into a sweet gem of a ginger cat.
Her fosters love to call her "Purry Flurry" as this darling girl loves to purr. She may still be a *bit* timid, but when you talk to her in a lovey way, pet her, or give her a super warm and cozy place to sleep, she will begin to purr like a little motor. You can often hear her purring across the room. She highly enjoys pets & rubs & butt scritches- she just needs a little reminder you are there for her to love on when you first approach her. She will stop right in her tracks for a good pet and purr her little heart out for you.
Flurry loves other cats, especially her brother Winter. She is always found cuddling with him or with another foster kitten in the home. She loves spring toys and chasing her brother around and wrestling with him. Because Flurry loves her littermates so much, she would do best going home with one of them as her foster believes this will help her acclimate and adjust much quicker. Having her brother Winter in foster with her has both helped her confidence and happiness grow as a little house cat!
Flurry LOVES churu and wet food and can be easily persuaded to come over to you to gobble some down. Churu has been the key to her heart in gaining her trust- as soon as she gets a whiff, she can't resist! She also really loves comfy/soft blankies and can often be found lounging on top of them (all while purring of course!)
Flurry is 4 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you are looking for a gentle natured kitty that is a total sweetheart, consider Flurry (and her best mate Winter) today!

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.

Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
