Huckleberry is a sweet and handsome 9-week-old German Shepherd/Husky mix who is ready to find his forever home! Born in late November as part of a litter of 11, Huckleberry and his brother Bilberry are the last two still waiting for families of their own.
Now weighing about 14 pounds, Huckleberry takes after his mom—a beautiful black German Shepherd mix—with his looks and presence. He’s doing wonderfully with socialization, showing a curious, friendly personality and all the charm you’d expect from a growing puppy.

If you are interested in adopting Huckleberry, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
