Wreath is a big girl with a big heart. She takes a bit to warm up to you, but once she chooses you, she won't hesitate to let you know when, where, and exactly how long she would like to be pet. Wreath has experienced some trauma in her short life so far, so don't be afraid if she gets a little mouthy. This sweet girl just has some boundaries. We have worked hard to make our adoption process as easy as possible. We like to think of the process in four steps: application, phone conversation, meet and greet and adoption day. We will get back to applicants within a few days even if they were not chosen.

All of our animals are in foster homes. To meet an animal please fill out our adoption application and we will get back to you to schedule a meet and greet if it seems it could be a good fit.

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.
