This helps Poodle and Pooch Rescue with pet care costs.
***Local adoption only: Hank needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking him to his follow-up puppy vetting appointments with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments have already been scheduled and their cost is covered in the adoption donation.***
Hi, I’m Hank! I'm a 7-week-old Goldendoodle boy. I currently weigh 7 pounds and I'm looking for a home where puppies are loved and cherished. I’m one of the more playful pups of the litter and always ready for cuddles and adventure!
Favorite Things: As a puppy, Hank is still investigating his environment, but he’s clear on one thing: the more toys, the better! He also enjoys safely exploring the outside world, showing him affection, and taking afternoon naps.
Training: Hank is all puppy, so his new family will have the opportunity to help him learn to be the best boy he can be. He is still working on house training and will need potty breaks every few hours to reinforce what he’s already learned – that it’s important to do his business in the great outdoors. He will also need more practice learning to walk on a leash and training on basic manners and responsiveness.
Health & Care: Hank is a healthy boy! He is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped but he still needs his final puppy vetting appointments. Those appointments have already been scheduled with PPR’s vetting partner and the cost is covered in his adoption donation. his adopters must commit to taking him to the appointments and to ensuring he has his monthly flea and heartworm preventative treatments. Hank is a doodle mix and as such will need regular brushing and professional grooming every six to eight weeks.
Other Animals: Hank has experience with dogs of every size, as well as cats.
Children: Hank also has experience with children of all ages and will do well with gentle, respectful little family members and visitors.
Ideal Home: Given Hank’s puppy energy, a single-family home with secure space to explore will be best. While he can be left home alone in a safe place for short periods, he needs someone who is around more often than not in the early months to help with training and, most importantly, cuddles.
Overall: If you are ready to welcome a fun-loving, snuggly companion and have the time and patience to help him blossom, Hank might be the one for you.
