Meet the Pet
This helps Poodle and Pooch Rescue with pet care costs.
***Local adoption only: Hailey needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking her to her follow-up puppy vetting appointments with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments have already been scheduled and their cost is covered in the adoption donation.***
Hi, I’m Hailey! I'm a 7-week-old Goldendoodle girl, currently weighing 7 pounds of sweetness. I'm looking for a home where love grows and a family who will help me blossom. I’m one of the quieter pups of the litter but I’m always ready for fun, adventure, and kisses!
Favorite Things: As a puppy, Hailey is still investigating her environment, but she’s clear on one thing: the more toys, the better! She also enjoys safely exploring the outside world, showing her affection, and taking afternoon naps.
Training: Hailey is all puppy, so her new family will have the opportunity to help her learn to be the best girl she can be. She is still working on house training and will need potty breaks every few hours to reinforce what she’s already learned – that it’s important to do her business in the great outdoors. She will also need more practice learning to walk on a leash and training on basic manners and responsiveness.
Health & Care: Hailey is a healthy girl! She is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped but she still needs her final puppy vetting appointments. Those appointments have already been scheduled with PPR’s vetting partner and the cost is covered in her adoption donation. Her adopters must commit to taking her to the appointments and to ensuring she has her monthly flea and heartworm preventative treatments. Hailey is a doodle mix and as such will need regular brushing and professional grooming every six to eight weeks.
Other Animals: Hailey has experience with dogs of every size, as well as cats.
Children: Hailey also has experience with children of all ages and will do well with gentle, respectful little family members and visitors.
Ideal Home: Given Hailey’s puppy energy, a single-family home with secure space to explore will be best. While she can be left home alone in a safe place for short periods, she needs someone who is around more often than not in the early months to help with training and, most importantly, cuddles.
Overall: If you are ready to welcome a fun-loving, snuggly companion and have the time and patience to help her blossom, Hailey might be the one for you.
