My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chip is a very loving and affectionate female white and brown tabby. She was found outside with her first litter in Lititz at only 5.5 months old! Very much a lap cat who thrives on attention. Loves people and is usually social from the get go. Chip gets along with other cats and dogs, but also likes to be the boss. She needs a slow intro which we can guide you through and will do best with mild mannered cats who dont mind sharing. Very thick soft coat.
Favorite Toy: Anything that dangles
Favorite Past Time: Cuddling or Spinning in the tub
Spayed, Microchipped, Rabies & Fvrcp vaccinated, FIV/FeLV Negative, Vet Checked, UTD on broad spectrum antiparasitics.

More about this rescue

KitUmbra Rescue Cats is a registered 501(c)(3) (as DBA under Loving Light Holistic Wellness) nonprofit cat rescue working to minimize community cat suffering in York County, PA and surrounding areas through rehabilitation, fostering, socialization, and adoption of injured or abandoned felines; neuter/spay, vaccination, and microchipping of every feline in our care; organization, supervision, and fundraising of community TNR efforts; provision of low cost cat vaccines, microchips, and dewormers for community members in need; and public education on responsible and humane cat ownership, holistic behavior training, and community TNR.

We are a disabled and family owned business started by a hopeless creative & compassionate soul who accidentally fell into cat rescue and decided to stay here. It's what happens when the neighborhood labels you "cat lady" and you answer the call😂.

We hope to continue expanding our operations from year to year. We are passionate about serving our community, both the felines and the humans, and we will always do whatever we can to help!
