Dora II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.
Hi! My name is Dora II! I am a beautiful 6 year old fawn girl that is an owner surrender after being found stray, my owners unable to be located, and my caretakers unable to keep me. I am described as friendly, shy, calm, affectionate, quiet, and nervous! There is a Yorkie resident dog but she isn't as welcoming to me and growls at me and I tremble when she blocks doors for me to go through. There is a resident cat and I am curious about it but it runs and hides from me. There are no children in my home but I was introduced to a neighbor child and was gentle with her. I am house trained and slept all night in the living room on a new orthopedic bed my caretaker bought for me. Both of my caretakers are retired and someone has been home at all times with me so it is unsure how I react when left alone. I want to get on the furniture and it is not allowed so I am respectful of the rules but like my newly acquired bed! I am afraid of the Yorkie, if the Yorkie is reprimanded for growling at me, and if people raise their voice. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I have a sensitive hip and do not jump in the car and must be helped. My favorite things are riding in the car, short walks, sitting as close to my caretaker as possible as she works or watches tv, sitting outside with my caretaker's husband, treats, and affection! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
