My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Springer is a handsome buff boy who is equal parts energetic bunny and professional snuggle buddy. With baseball season just around the corner, he’s been working on his running skills by chasing his siblings all over the place. He also practices his leaps by launching himself after wand toys or soft balls tossed into the air. Springer is a big fan of all toys - tunnels, kickers, and the laser light are definite fan favourites. Once the on-field antics with his siblings are done, he’s ready to clock out and focus on what really matters: scratches and pets. He’ll wind his way around your feet as you walk, patiently waiting for you to sit down. He loves having his ears and chin scratched and won’t hesitate to jostle with his siblings to get to your hands first. Springer also takes mealtime very seriously - he’s always the first one at the bowl (even while you’re still prepping it) and somehow manages to snag the first bites every single time. We aren’t sure how Springer is with other cats, dogs or kids. Priority will be given to applicants applying for a pair of “Blue Jays Crew” siblings (Bo, Addison or Kirky), as they must be adopted in pairs.

Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
