Elsie, Edith, Elodie, and Edward are a delightful family group of kittens currently living at the shelter. They approach life with boundless energy and joy, displaying all the playful antics you would expect from a spirited group of young cats.
This lively bunch is always ready to explore, play, and discover new things, ensuring every day with them is filled with fun and laughter. Their rambunctious nature makes them happy to watch and interact with, as their unique personalities shine through in everything they do.
Among the siblings, Edward stands out as the only male. Despite this, he is far from shy—he enthusiastically joins in all the rough-and-tumble games with his sisters. Like his littermates, Edward is well on the way to being fully litter boxed trained showing adaptability and a willingness to learn, demonstrating responsibility and readiness for a forever home. If you are considering adopting a kitten, why not welcome Edward and one of his siblings into your family? Together, they will bring joy, companionship, and endless entertainment to your household.

The Stone County SPCA was organized in 2009 and opened a shelter in 2012 in Wiggins, MS. We have always been a no kill shelter. Our biggest challenge is the high demand to place dogs and cats in our shelter. Currently, we take in approximately 1200 animals annually. We do not euthanize animals for lack of space. We have a live release rate of 95%. We do this by keeping adoption fees low and transporting a large percentage of our animals (65% of our dogs and puppies).
