My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾💖 **Vera** 💖🐾

Vera is an absolute sweetheart with a heart full of love to give. She is very friendly, incredibly affectionate, and truly enjoys being around people. Vera doesn’t hesitate to seek out attention — she’ll happily lean in for pets, soak up all the love, and reward you with gentle purrs.

With her warm, easygoing personality, Vera makes friends quickly and would do wonderfully in a home where she can be part of daily life. She’s the kind of cat who brings comfort and companionship, whether she’s curled up beside you or following you around just to be near.

If you’re looking for a loving, social cat who will be a devoted companion, Vera may be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾💕

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
Please visit our website, www.ahumanesociety.org for more information.
