Broccolini is a sweet boy who enjoys being pet, playing with toys, and cuddling up to watch warm, heartfelt movies - no loud or scary sounds or voices please. He is affectionate, likes to chat, and isn’t shy about meowing (with the volume up!) for pets when he’s feeling lovey. He hasn’t shown interest in being a lap cat. Rather, he’s a curious bird and squirrel watcher through the window, a closet explorer, a yoga stretch ninja, a catnip mouse chaser, an apartment furniture obstacle course runner, and a soft blanket napper. Broccolini can be shy and quite cautious at first, but once he’s feeling comfortable and confident his endearing personality emerges over time. Extra patience and tender understanding is needed for this currently underweight kitty who stopped eating for a time after having to leave his previous home/”owner”. Now Broccolini meows enthusiastically for breakfast and dinner, no problem. A lingering cough that could be related to this sensitive kitty’s stress from relocating is something to keep an eye on. He is also healing from a few injuries where his fur is growing back in. Listening to soulful music puts him in a relaxed mood.
