Piper was surrendered to EHS with her sister, Noelle, just before Christmas. Not much is known about her past, but what is clear is that this little calico is full of spark and pizzazz - right down to the adorable orange stripe running proudly down her forehead.
ABOUT PIPER -In foster -Piper was a little spicy when she first arrived, but she’s become a friendly kitty now that she has had time to adjust and unwind. -Kittens, like Piper, have lots of energy! -Piper is gaining confidence daily and even runs to greet her foster mom in the morning! -She loves full body pets and has a particular fondness for her wand toy. -Piper is great with the other cats in the household and loves to play and cuddle with them. -Piper has a new-found love for all-things cozy. As such, she now sleeps and naps on her foster mom’s bed! -With a slow approach, she can be picked up. She is steadily becoming more comfortable with being handled as her foster family works daily to socialize her. -Piper is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
PIPER’S IDEAL HOME -It is important that Piper either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with her sibling, Noelle, or another compatible EHS cat. -Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans. -Piper would do best in a home without young children. However, older children should be just fine.
