Meet Princess — Small Body, Big Comeback Energy

The Backstory
Life changed for her previous owner, and despite attempts to rehome her, Princess was ultimately surrendered to the shelter. A medical evaluation was requested, and a summons was issued regarding body condition concerns. Whatever the past looked like, it does not define her story. What matters is that a foster stepped up — and we stepped in. Princess is now safe, cared for, and moving forward.

Personality
Small but action-packed! Princess has energy, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart. She’s friendly, engaging, and eager to connect with her people. She may be petite, but her personality fills the room.

In Foster Care
Because a foster opened their home, she was able to leave the shelter environment and decompress. She’s adjusting beautifully and showing everyone just how resilient and affectionate she truly is.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support is an all volunteer 501C3 non-profit all-breed rescue group that helps abandoned, neglected and lost pets. We are intensely devoted to helping pets find their forever home.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.
