Meet Chico
Chico has officially arrived in Wisconsin and is settling in beautifully. After a confusing and heartbreaking surrender caused by sudden housing restrictions, this sweet boy is finally getting a chance to decompress and show everyone what a wonderful companion he is.
Chico is a 4-year-old mixed-breed boy with a calm, gentle, and easygoing personality. Despite everything he has been through, he remains affectionate, quiet, and incredibly loving. He’s the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into a home and is happiest simply being near his people.
He is short, stocky, and solid at about 50 pounds, but doesn’t feel large at all. Chico walks well on leash, has good manners, and appears to be potty trained. He has done well with other dogs and cats and is expected to do well with respectful kids.
Chico is already neutered and heartworm negative, making him ready to move right into a forever home. He would thrive in many types of households and is simply looking for the stability and love he lost through no fault of his own.
This calm, loving boy is so deserving of a soft place to land and a family to call his own.
