My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Meet Bacon! Bacon and his siblings were surrendered to our incredible  rescue partner Saving Shelter Strays, by a family that was losing their home and could not take mom and babies with them. Their mom is a 'low rider' pittie mix (see the last photo!). Bacon is energetic, social and adorable. He  is in a loving TX foster home while waiting for her ride to the PNW and is healthy and thriving.

Foster Update: Bacon is a delightful, charming little boy! He is doing great in his crate and potty training! Very smart and food motivated. He likes to be with and close by his people and is doing well with other dogs and even cats. He likes adventures and will probably do best with an active family!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization.
