Shelby is the definition of a Velcro dog — she wants to be wherever her person is, soaking up all the love and companionship she can get. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will happily stick by your side, Shelby is your girl.
She does great with both large and small dogs and has been wonderful sharing space with other animals. Shelby enjoys roaming around the yard, playing fetch, and chasing balls. She’s still working on the “bring it back” part, but that just adds to her charm!
Shelby is house trained and politely lets you know when she needs to go out by standing at the door like a little lady. She’s done well sleeping on the floor or even in bed alongside other animals without any issues.
If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing dog who wants nothing more than to be close to her people, Shelby may be your perfect match. Come meet her and see how quickly she steals your heart!

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We`ll see you soon at either location!
