Meet - Bolt - #MADLoveBolt
Bolt and another dog wandered into a quiet Miami neighborhood off a very busy road just before the holidays. Neighbors rallied to contian them to keep them safe. They immediately took them to a vet and unfortunately no microchip was found. They set up a GoFund me to get any immeidate vet care taken care of. Both are up to date on their shots and soon to be spayed/neutered!
Located in Central Florida
4-ish year old male Belgian Malinois, 80lbs
Vaccinated
Great on the leash!
Minimal prey drive - not tested with cats
Knows basic commands but is a very quick learner and HIGHLY trainable
LOVES people - attention is his ultimate motivation!
LOVES to cuddle and snooze, and pretty mellow for the breed
Potty trained
No food aggression at all, can hand feed and shares bowls with other dogs
Very trusting with vets and handlers
Mild reactivity with other barking dogs. Can be managed with a proper introduction
Struggles with being left alone - not ideal for a home where he will be left home alone often
Working on crate training
All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6-month subscription.
Bite work or protection training is not permitted for dogs adopted by MAD Rescue.

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.

We interview applicants and 3 references. References include 2 non-family members and 1 vet.
Home Check
After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.
Approve Application
Pay Fee
All MAD dogs are UTD and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee will apply to any dog that is adopted after completing the above process.
