Meet Mon — part cat, part personal trainer, part massage therapist.
Mon is a very large, very special boy. We’re talking over 15 pounds of mostly white cat, topped with a single black dot on his head and finished with a black tail — like someone ran out of ink halfway through designing him. Big body, bigger personality.
Mon is extremely affectionate and proudly needy. He loves to be snuggled, carried, and held like a human baby — back tucked into your arm, tummy out, completely relaxed. He will also absolutely let you know when it’s breakfast time by licking your face every morning until you comply. Speaking of food: Mon thrives on routine. Breakfast is at 7–7:30. Dinner is at 5–5:30. On the dot. Miss the window and you will receive a strongly worded complaint.
Affection is Mon’s love language, and headbutts are his specialty. He headbutts to say hello, to say “I love you,” and to remind you he exists. He also nose-dives at your feet and rolls around like a rolly-polly, just in case you forgot he’s there.
When he sleeps, Mon sploots — legs stretched out like a corgi or a gecko — and when picked up, he turns into a flexible noodle. Despite his cuddly nature, this guy is surprisingly athletic: he can do a full pull-up using just his front arms (we don’t question it, we just admire it).
Mon enjoys playtime too. He loves his tunnel and will happily chase you through it as you walk by, and he likes to run, jump, and get his energy out. A calm home with a good routine suits him best, but he still appreciates plenty of play and enrichment.
If Mon had a job, he’d be a massage therapist. He loves to knead, walk on you, and settle in for long snuggle sessions, offering his services generously and without appointment.
If you’re looking for a big, affectionate, routine-loving cat who will demand your attention, lick your face, headbutt you with love, and keep your schedule on track, Mon is ready to move in and take over your heart — and your calendar.
Mon did test positive for FIV or feline immunodeficiency virus. While FIV is not curable and can be contagious in certain circumstances, cats with FIV can live completely normal lives and are fine living with other cats they get along with. Mon is a resilient boy, one that is sure to keep his future adopters incredibly entertained!
