My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlotte is a joyful, affectionate young dog who greets the world with a wiggly body, happy tail, and plenty of kisses. She is a lover through and through. Her foster mom says she is wonderful with her 6 year old daughter and fits right in with their two dogs. She is gentle, mild-mannered, and quiet, too! She loves to cuddle, hops right in the car for any adventure, and likes to play with toys and zoom on and off the couch. Most of all, she just wants to curl up with her favorite folks for some of the best snuggles you can find this side of the Mississippi.

Charlotte is a big fan of other dogs and shines in playgroups. She enjoys active, rough-and-tumble play to keep the fun going. She would do best with a dog friend who can match her playful energy and help her learn when it is time to take a breather. Indoors, she and her doggy foster siblings enjoy lounging on the couch together using each others bodies as pillows.

Charlotte has enthusiasm, heart, and is the perfect fit for a lively, loving family. Extra points if you have sweet dog-savvy kids - she absolutely adores them!

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
