My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Dizzy is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***

Dizzy #20059: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 5/1/25

Cats: comfortable
Dogs: good (steals their beds)
Children: all ages

BACKGROUND: Late one night, a security guard at a marina watched a woman with a carrier put two cats out on the sidewalk and then leave… Dizzy was about eight weeks old and was left along with his young mom. The security guard called a local rescuer he knew who took them in, and they later transferred to our care.

PERSONALITY: This super-affectionate boy is a Velcro Kitty, so you’d better like close contact! Purrmeister Dizzy always wants to be snugged up against your chest or in your lap. He loves to kiss you, rub against you, sleep with you (and on you), and ohhh is he a biscuit-maker extraordinaire. He’ll do a “paw paw” dance on you so that he can knead with both his front and back legs, and soft blankets are also given that attention. Dizzy can get so relaxed he starts drooling. As a young kitty, Dizzy is definitely playful and he loves a variety of toys, though he’s not overly rambunctious; he’s calm but playful, likes high spots, and is also easily entertained watching movements on your phone.

COMPATIBILITY: Dizzy is great with everyone: cats, dogs (he loves to sleep on their beds), and children who are gentle with cats. He can keep himself busy playing alone or with other cats. What he wants first and foremost is LOTS of human attention.

Dizzy is a doll baby… an absolute sweetheart!
