My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butter Noodle is a cute young female Terrier mix who was surrendered by her owner on January 8, 2026.

This little sweetheart has a tan short smooth coat with cream-colored highlights on her chest, rather long legs, a long tail, and an adorable face with hopeful trusting eyes, a brown button nose, a tiny slender muzzle, and large floppy ears.

Butter Noodle was a very shy little girl when she first entered our shelter (and who could blame her after losing her home). Butter Noodle is currently making her temporary home in our front office so that she will be given extra TLC and to help her overcome her shyness. She has made great strides already and is warming up to staff/volunteers fairly quickly these days.

Butter Noodle is very thin and weighs perhaps 15 lbs. She has a very unique-looking appearance when you see her in person .. And with a bit of imagination, she has the resemblance of a deer fawn or a miniature greyhound.

Butter Noodle will be spayed before being officially adopted by her new family. She could be fostered while she awaits that procedure with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application. We would love to see her back in a home where she would be loved 24/7 instead of being alone in the office for long nights in her shelter bed.
