My story

Hi there - my name is Jordyn! When I was a kitten I was found all by myself & taken to a shelter where I wasn't eating well so CAWS took me in to find my forever home. I was adopted & had a family for a couple years but then they had human kids and decided to give me back to CAWS.

My foster mom tells me all the that I'm an adorable girl, so I'm sure you'll think so too. I have medium length hair that is really soft & makes me look fluffy. I love other cats & one of the best things in the world is to be in a cuddle pile with them for a nap. I lived with a dog in the past & I think with a calm one I would still be happy to have one in my home.

Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
