Charlie is a gentle, affectionate kitty who truly loves being around others, he was surrendered to our Vineland shelter with Serenity, before making their way to us here in Tinton Falls.
Charlie is quite talkative and enjoys “chatting” with his people, especially when he’s getting the attention he loves so much. With his sweet personality, loving nature, and social spirit, Charlie is happiest when he’s surrounded by companionship and affection—and he’s ready to share that love with his forever family 😽✨

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
