Toastada was sadly returned to the shelter due to allergies in her home after being adopted back in 2020. Understandably, she is a bit shy right now as she readjusts to the shelter environment, and she prefers to spend her time in a cozy hiding spot where she feels safe. With a gentle approach, Toastada shows her true self: a very sweet girl who loves to be pet and enjoys quiet affection. She just needs a little patience and kindness to help her feel secure again. Toastada has so much love to give and deserves another chance at a forever home where she can truly settle in.

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.
We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.
Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
