Brantley is an approx. 1-year-old, 16lb. male chihuahua mix who is a joyful, affectionate pup bursting with classic puppy energy and curiosity. He absolutely loves his toys and proudly carries them around, often bringing them straight to your bed to share his fun. He is fully potty trained, rarely barks, and settling easily into daily routines. Brantley does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company, whether at home or out on walks. When walking, he’s friendly, social, and polite with both people and dogs, making outings enjoyable and stress-free. At mealtime, Brantley isn’t picky at all, though he has a healthy appetite and would benefit from using a slow feeder dish. He rides calmly in the car and does well as long as he’s safely secured with a tether. We are requiring a secure fenced yard for him because he is young, agile and loves to chase squirrels. He will chase an indoor cat to play but does not harm them. One of his sweetest traits is how affectionate he is—Brantley loves to be near his people at all times and is happiest when close by. He’s a true snuggle bug who shows his love by gently resting his chin on your lap, soaking up attention and companionship. He loves sleeping with his person at night.
