Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spade is a quiet, sensitive boy who prefers to take the world at his own pace. He typically hangs out in his litterbox area, where he feels most comfortable, and can be a bit cautious when approached. When you first reach for him, he may flinch slightly—he’s just making sure you’re someone he can trust.
Spade isn’t immediately won over by treats or enrichment and may ignore things like Churus or lick mats until he’s had some time alone to settle in. Gentle patience is key with this guy. While he may seem reserved at first, Spade has a very sweet side that comes out once he feels safe.
With slow, respectful interaction, Spade will allow pets and truly enjoy them. He especially loves chin scratches and will lean into them, showing his appreciation. He’s also very polite about his boundaries and will gently pull his head away when he’s had enough.
Spade would do best in a calm, understanding home with someone willing to give him time and space to build confidence. For the right person, earning his trust will be incredibly rewarding.
