Hi, I’m Ducky!

I’m a new guy here at FDHS and still getting the hang of shelter life, but I’m taking it all pretty well. I’m a friendly, goofy guy who likes to say hi to just about everyone I meet. New people, new dogs, new smells. I’m into all of it. Making friends is totally my thing. I’ve been told I’ve got a great personality for a family dog, and I think that sounds about right. I’m easygoing, social, and pretty adaptable, so I should fit into most households without too much trouble.

I’m still settling in, but so far I’m showing everyone that I’m a good boy with a big heart and a silly streak. As I get more comfortable, the humans here will share more about me. For now, just know I’m ready to meet my future family!

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
