My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah is delightful!

This adult snuggler was living as a stray when she was found with her newborn kitten, but you would never know it. She has no fear of people. She’s a friend to every person who comes by, eager for pets, playtime and sitting in laps. She bursts into purrs nearly every time she sees a person, whether brand-new or familiar.

She’s an ideal cat for someone who wants a fun pet who doesn’t need help adjusting. She is polite and well-behaved, using her scratchpad and litter box without any coaxing. She doesn’t just snuggle, but loves to play, both on her own and with her people. She loves to talk to people and rushes towards you for affection.

She is also very chill. Despite loving people, she’s also very happy to hang out by herself in the window. Delilah is Ms. Flexibility. She doesn’t love the vacuum, but she also doesn’t freak out, but just stands and waits patiently for me to finish.

Delilah had a few minor medical procedures when she first arrived, but everything has been resolved. She’s in great health and needs no medications. She’s a great pet for someone who has a busy social life, because she takes care of herself but is also not afraid to meet new people. She’d be thrilled being your one-and-only, but she also loves her son Ziggy, who is available for adoption (A181000). They would be happy to be adopted together.
