Hi, I’m Chevy 🐾

I’m a super smart, 2-year-old girl who loves learning and showing off my good manners. I already know all the important stuff like sit, stay, shake, and more—and I’m always excited to learn new things. On walks, I’m a dream on a leash. I stay right with my person and really pay attention, because I love being connected and in tune with whoever I’m with.

I’m the kind of dog who watches you, listens to you, and just gets you. I enjoy spending time together, whether that’s going for a nice walk, hanging out at home, or practicing my skills. I have a big heart and so much love to give.

I’m wishing for my forever home—a place where I can be someone’s loyal companion, best friend, and constant shadow. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet girl who’s ready to bond deeply and love you for life, I might just be your Chevy 💕

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
