My story

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Unknown, likely yes
Good with kids: Yes, dog savvy children
Crate trained: Yes

Snow Owl Songbird is a laid back guy whose striking looks are sure to make him a celebrity anywhere he goes. This adorable boy has plenty of puppy energy, but often prefers to watch his friends play from a comfy spot nearby. Snow Owl can’t wait to find a home where he can build his confidence and become a treasured member of a family.

Snow Owl likes to approach at his own speed when he meets new people, and once he’s had a chance to sniff he loves to make new friends. He’s met older kids and enjoyed playing and cuddling with them. Snow Owl would likely do well with kids of any age with proper introductions. He hasn’t met cats, but with his gentle personality he would likely be fine with them. Snow Owl likes to run around with his buddies and play with toys in his crate before he falls asleep.

Snow Owl is crate trained and sees it as a happy, safe place. He’s also house trained! Snow Owl is still a puppy, so he might need support and patience after big changes, but this good boy will alert when he needs to go out. He has been working on his leash skills and is excited to perfect them in his new home.

Snow Owl is a cuddly, sensitive pup who will bring his new family lots of love. Could he be the one for you?

More about this rescue

Our mission at Last Hope K9 Rescue is to save every possible dog we can from being euthanized within high-volume kill shelters throughout the U.S.

As the literal “last hope” of nearly every animal we serve, we work tirelessly to place each one within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home, or the gateway to their forever home. We also strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved, including our dogs. This leads to our second goal: enriching human lives through canine companionship. To us, you can’t have one without the other.

Lastly, we promote animal welfare by lobbying important initiatives that both protect and give voice to the voiceless. By fostering an environment of collaboration with other organizations that share our goals, and working together instead of in competition, we find that we accomplish more.
