These sweet dogs are a bonded pair of very similar-looking sisters with a fascinating international background, having been rescued from a dire situation in the West Bank by a compassionate rescuer who brought them here to Colorado. Tala and Sunbul have been aken under the wing of Kindness Ranch, an amazing rescue organization in Wyoming, and Summit Dog Rescue is stepping in to help them find a forever home here in the mountains.
Tala and Sunbul are both 5 years old, good with dogs, housetrained, and they vote for going to a home without kitties. They're very fond of each other, which is why they need to be adopted to the same home. Here's what they have to say:
"Hi! We're Tala and Sunbul! We're a bonded pair who are looking for our forever home! We love each other very much, and wish we could be adopted together. Other items on our wish list are; a cozy house where we can lounge around on the couch and bed, a big backyard to run around in, other dogs to play and wrestle with, toys to play tug-o-war with, belly rubs, lots of pets, and treats! We will show you some of the tricks we learned if you have treats to share. I know we may be asking for a lot, but we think we deserve it and once you meet us, you'll agree. We are waiting to meet you, so come on by and say hello!"
Tala and Sunbul are very sweet and loving and will make fantastic pets!
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Tala and Sunbul, send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly.

Additional adoption info
First you must fill out an application which we will review. Then we will do a phone interview, reference check and finally a home visit before a dog is placed in your home. We ONLY adopt to homes where the dog is an indoor dog, part of the family and treated as such. We stress excellent nutrition, proper training and follow up with all our adopters.
We are probably have one of the more thorough and difficult adoption processes... and we love that people want to adopt and don't want to discourage adopters! So please, if you're in a hurry, or not an exceptional furever home - please try other rescues or a SHELTER is a great option too!
