My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jasmine! 🌸
Jasmine is an 8-month-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. This lovely girl has a gorgeous deep red coat that’s just as striking as her soft, soulful eyes. She adores cuddles, cozy naps, and being close to her people, she’s happiest when she’s by your side.

Jasmine is kid and dog friendly and does best with calm, kind companions who match her sweet nature. She’s still building her confidence in the big world, and things like loud noises or passing cars can make her feel a little unsure. Because of this, Jasmine is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let her grow at her own pace and show her how safe and loved she truly is.

With gentle guidance and lots of reassurance, Jasmine is sure to blossom into a devoted, loving companion. 💛

All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped.

Go meet their pets

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
