I truly love being noticed and adored, and I’m always happy to soak up affection from my people. I’m a big guy with an even bigger heart, which just means there’s more of me to cuddle. I adore pets, scratches behind my ears, face bonks, and cozy cuddles — especially at night. I might even try to comb your hair while I’m at it. If you’re waving around a feather wand, even better… playtime is one of my favourite things! I can be a little nervous when I’m first settling into a new place, but I warm up quickly once I feel safe. My curiosity takes over, and soon I’m exploring, playing, and making myself right at home. I’m active, affectionate, and very people-focused — I may even be your morning alarm clock around 8 a.m. when it’s clearly time to get up and play. I’m looking for a warm, loving home where I can truly be part of the family, with plenty of affection, playtime, and space on the couch for snuggles. The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
