My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Bear’s former family was dealing with some major health issues and they were heartbroken to give up Little Bear, but they were unable to continue to give him the care that he needs.

Little Bear is an absolute doll. He is sweet, smart, loving and has just the right amount of sass! Little Bear enjoys exploring outside and he’s crate trained and mostly potty trained. A Cat TV fan, Little Bear loves watching bird videos. He settles right down in his crate and watches the birds, so cute! Prior to rescue, Little Bear lived with kids in the home and also a cat. In his foster home, he follows the adult female Pyrenees around and likes to be where she is. Little Bear needs another dog in his furever home that he can learn from and be a companion. Because of his puppy mouthing, it’s preferrable that children in the home be 8 yrs and up.
Little Bear is being fostered in St Louis, MO.

3 months old, Little Bear is up to date on vaccines, up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. Little Bear will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay at a later date and must provide vet records at that time.

More about this rescue

Great Pyrenees Rescue of Missouri is dedicated to rescuing Great Pyrenees who are without a home, need medical attention, or just need a safe haven as they transition to their forever home. We are a volunteer, nonprofit rescue, relying solely on your generous donations. We are currently working to establish our rescue facility in St. Clair, Missouri. Until our facility is constructed, we will be foster based only, with fosters in Missouri and surrounding states. We will continue to have fosters after our facility is built. Our facility will allow us to rescue more Pyrenees in need.
